Due to the impact of COVID-19, restaurants and hospitality companies are facing unforeseen challenges, including the need to rapidly adjust business operations due to closures and new safety measures.
Attentive has launched the Accelerate 2020 initiative after recognizing the increased importance for restaurants and hospitality businesses to have a more effective way to stay connected with their customers during this time.
Accepted companies will receive free access to Attentive’s text message marketing platform, with up to $10 million total in free Attentive-powered text messages, as well as strategic guidance from Attentive’s white-glove client strategy and creative services teams.
This initiative is designed to help businesses impacted by COVID-19 grow a list of opted-in text messaging subscribers, engage with their customer base, and drive revenue from delivery, takeout or curbside pickup orders, and gift card options.
Text messaging is a powerful form of direct communication for businesses—79% of consumers say they want to hear from their favorite brands via text messaging. This program will not only help restaurant and hospitality companies drive revenue by directly engaging with their audience, but will also boost brand awareness and strengthen relationships with loyal customers.
It's critical for restaurants and hospitality companies to have a direct way to communicate with existing and potential customers, especially now that business operations and policies are changing frequently.
