In a year defined by economic uncertainty and rapid industry shifts, our customers thrived by embracing omnichannel marketing—and Attentive delivered the platform to help them do it.

2025 was a uniquely challenging year. Massive changes to world trade standards, unexpected tariffs, economic pressures, platform changes (iOS 26), and rapid industry shifts, alongside a cautious consumer, created headwinds no one could have forecasted. Despite all this disruption, our customers were able to adapt faster than ever by executing omnichannel strategies across SMS, email, and push, enabled by Attentive’s platform.

We focused on providing our customers with the tools, data, guidance, and partnership they needed to navigate these challenges, and emerged from 2025 with a best of breed platform that reliably meets the needs of our customers at scale. By leveraging AI to personalize the shopping experience, we are actively helping brands strengthen their relationships with customers in real time.

I'm excited to share the milestones that made 2025 transformative and the foundation we’ve laid for continued success in 2026.

A Record-Breaking Black Friday Cyber Monday

Our customers delivered exceptional results during the most critical shopping period of the year. During BFCM, Attentive powered over 4 billion messages across SMS, email, and push notifications. Our platform maintained full reliability and experienced zero downtime throughout Cyber Week, providing our brands with the opportunity to connect across channels and at scale. Brands using AI-powered personalization across channels saw revenue boosts of up to 40%, demonstrating the value of coordinated, data-backed experiences.

Innovation and Partnerships That Drive Measurable Impact

This year we launched push notifications, expanding our omnichannel capabilities beyond SMS and email to meet our customers everywhere they are. The impact was immediate. In our very first campaign, we delivered 177,000 messages. By BFCM, that capability had scaled to 4 million push notifications sent seamlessly across our customer base, demonstrating both speed and reliability when it matters most. 

On the partnerships front, we deepened our integrations with Snowflake, Punchh, Thanx, Google Merchant Center, and Google Ads, giving brands more ways to activate their customer data and gain deeper insights into customer behavior and preferences.

We punctuated our partnership momentum by becoming Yotpo’s preferred SMS and email partner. Yotpo chose us as a recommended partner for their former SMS and email customers due to our enterprise-grade capabilities, expertise in large-scale migrations, and ability to create meaningful 1:1 interactions at scale. Our exclusive integration with Yotpo Loyalty enables brands to unify loyalty program data with marketing channels in ways no other platform can match.

We also launched our Signature Agency Program, bringing together top-performing agency partners to help solve complex brand problems and accelerate growth. These carefully selected partners don't just provide services. They act as true extensions of brands’ teams, bringing deep platform knowledge and specialized expertise in everything from full-funnel execution to cutting-edge AI integration.

Navigating iOS 26, Market Uncertainty & Industry Recognition

With iOS 26, Apple increased consumer control over their messages by filtering texts from unknown senders into a secondary inbox without real-time notifications. The impact of this filtering is massive, with messages filtered into the Unknown Sender inbox seeing an average decline of 30-40% on clicks and conversions. However, Attentive customers using our 9x-patented two-tap™ technology retain inbox deliverability, so are not impacted from the iOS 26 updates. This is validation of our two-tap strategy, which from the beginning centered around proactive consumer action with simplicity.

As the marketing landscape continues to evolve, we will remain proactive- partnering with industry stakeholders, thoroughly testing new iOS releases, and refining our product to anticipate where the market moves next.

Beyond platform changes, 2025 brought economic pressures that forced marketers to justify every dollar spent. We responded by publishing guidance around navigating tariffs, and releasing timely consumer data through our Marketer Pulse series and State of Personalized Marketing 2025 report.

And for the fifth consecutive year, Attentive was named to the Forbes Cloud 100, the definitive ranking of the top private cloud companies in the world. We remain the only marketing cloud platform on this list.
