Hello Adorn makes everyday jewelry by hand in its Eau Claire, Wisconsin studio. What began with founders Jess and Adam working at their dining room table has grown into a team of more than 40 people, a thriving ecommerce business, and a flagship store rooted in the brand’s hometown.

From disconnected platforms to one connected strategy
Hello Adorn’s SMS program lived in Attentive, while email ran through Klaviyo and push notifications through OneSignal. For Jordan and Juliann—a two-person team responsible for ecommerce, app management, campaigns, and lifecycle strategy—moving between platforms made planning and reporting more manual and obscured the full customer journey.
To simplify that work, Hello Adorn migrated email from Klaviyo to Attentive, then moved push from OneSignal to Attentive and connected it to the brand’s Tapcart-powered app. Instead of operating as three separate programs, email, SMS, and push could now share one customer view and one coordinated strategy.
Each channel still has a clear job. Email tells the fuller story behind Hello Adorn’s culture and collections. SMS creates urgency around moments that matter. Push rewards the brand’s most engaged app users with exclusive access and timely reminders. Bringing them together helps the team target more intentionally, coordinate timing, and avoid relying on SMS for every high-priority message.
“Having everything in one platform has simplified our workflow tremendously. We can build, launch, and analyze campaigns in one place while seeing how customers engage across every channel. It allows us to plan more intentionally and measure retention as one connected strategy instead of looking at each channel separately.”
— Juliann Ford, Creative + Lifecycle Strategist, Hello Adorn
With the same behavioral context available across channels, Journeys and RFM segmentation help the team automate more relevant experiences and move faster without sacrificing personalization.

Building an app that feels like more than another storefront
Hello Adorn originally launched a simple app that largely reproduced its mobile website. It worked as a proof of concept: customers downloaded it, shopped through it, and showed that there was demand for a dedicated app experience.
The next step was to make the app feel truly native to the brand. Hello Adorn moved to Tapcart to gain more flexibility, create app-specific experiences, and connect customer behavior more directly to its marketing in Attentive.
“Brands like Hello Adorn show what happens when App engagement is treated as a real differentiated marketing channel, not just a storefront. As the App is the brand's highest LTV channel, every interaction becomes something the team can act on.”
— Jon Knott, Technology Partnerships, Tapcart
The result is a channel designed for Hello Adorn’s most loyal customers—people the team describes as its VIP community.
“They’re so dedicated to Hello Adorn that they let us in their pockets. We want to make them feel like they’re getting something special for being part of the app.”
— Jordan Munson, Manager, Digital Commerce Systems, Hello Adorn
For new collections and limited releases, Hello Adorn can give app users access before the broader audience, then send a push notification that deep-links directly to the featured collection. A prominent placement in the app makes the experience easy to find, while the early window rewards customers for staying close to the brand.
The same integration removes friction during high-intent moments. When an app user leaves items in their cart, a deep-linked push reminder can return them directly to that cart. They don’t have to land on the homepage, retrace their steps, or remember what they were considering—the message picks up where they left off and creates a smoother path back to purchase.

How early access turned ‘Step Into Summer’ into a VIP moment
Hello Adorn put this strategy into action with its Step Into Summer campaign, which introduced 14 new anklets alongside a promotion.
The team released the products and offer in the app first, giving app users an exclusive head start. A push notification announced the early access window and added a timely reason to act: some styles might sell out.
Customers responded. Multiple products sold out during the app-only window—before the broader launch began.
The campaign showed how push could do more than announce a promotion. By connecting exclusivity, urgency, and a direct path into the collection, Hello Adorn turned the app into a meaningful benefit for its most engaged customers.
“It was a ‘get it now or it could be gone’ kind of thing. We had a couple of products sell out during that app-only window.”
— Jordan Munson, Manager, Digital Commerce Systems, Hello Adorn

Growing push revenue faster than send volume
During the program’s early ramp-up, monthly revenue attributed to push increased 30% and attributed conversions grew 40%, while send volume increased by only 9%. The audience was growing, too: Hello Adorn expanded its push-subscribed audience by 27% in under three months—showing growth in both the program’s reach and productivity.
Several collection and product launches contributed to that growth, including Summer Edit, By the Sea, Star Threaders, and the anklet launch featured in Step Into Summer. Together, these campaigns demonstrate how Hello Adorn can use push to turn app access into measurable action while reserving SMS for the moments when its immediacy matters most.
Using AI Grow to build a larger, higher-value audience
Attentive AI has helped Hello Adorn extend the impact of its connected strategy. In a 30-day AI Grow test, the brand saw:
- A 23% lift in SMS sign-ups
- A 19% lift in email sign-ups
- A 28% lift in welcome journey revenue
- A 14% lift in welcome journey conversions
The test helped Hello Adorn acquire more subscribers across both channels and convert more of them through its welcome experience. These gains give the team a larger, higher-value audience it can guide through coordinated email, SMS, and push experiences.
Separately, Hello Adorn’s total company revenue increased 74% year over year.

White-glove support that feels like part of the team
Technology alone wasn’t the whole story. When Hello Adorn migrated email, Attentive helped the team set up its workflows, journeys, and automations, including abandonment programs. Ongoing weekly meetings with its customer success manager keep important optimizations moving, even when the team’s day-to-day workload gets crowded.
Attentive’s White Glove Support gives the team another source of responsive, executional help. For Jordan and Juliann, that support expands what a lean team can accomplish.
“Attentive helped us set up our workflows and journeys, and our weekly meetings make sure we keep revisiting the things that need attention. We’ve worked with plenty of other services that don’t have the same level of support—you can feel the difference.”
— Juliann Ford, Creative + Lifecycle Strategist, Hello Adorn
What’s next: making push even more personal
Hello Adorn sees more room to make push helpful, relevant, and distinct from its other channels. The team is exploring location-based messaging for customers near its flagship Eau Claire store, as well as notifications that offer value beyond promotions.
Whatever comes next, the guiding principle will stay the same: customers don’t think in channels. They experience one brand.
“Having everything in one spot makes it much easier to create a consistent experience, personalize the messaging, and move faster as a team. Customers aren’t thinking about channels—they’re just interacting with our brand.”
— Jordan Munson, Manager, Digital Commerce Systems, Hello Adorn
By bringing email, SMS, and push together in Attentive—and connecting that strategy to a Tapcart app built for loyal customers—Hello Adorn can meet every shopper with the right kind of message while making its small team feel much bigger.
