The challenge: getting campaign history ready to use
For MintRx, understanding campaign performance is part of planning future sends. The team compares results and checks that its journeys work as intended.
The team was already using AI to help. Getting the right information into its AI tool was the time-consuming part.
One team member used remote debugging to have an AI tool navigate the Attentive interface and gather data. The tool frequently hit roadblocks or couldn’t retrieve what it needed, requiring more manual prompts to work through the problem.
Elsewhere on the team, campaign reviews and journey creation still happened manually in Attentive. Accessing historical email creative was difficult, too: after a send, the original HTML was hard to retrieve, so the team often relied on PDF exports.
MintRx wanted to spend less time gathering campaign history and more time using it to plan sends, review journeys, and build new ones.
Connecting AI to the work already happening in Attentive
With Attentive MCP, MintRx could access campaign data and work on journeys directly from its AI assistant.
It connects supported AI tools to approved Attentive data and workflows. Marketers can use plain-language prompts to pull reports, draft campaigns, and create or update journeys within their account permissions. The AI assistant performs the analysis; MCP provides the connection.
Marketers can start with read-only access. Creating or editing work requires write-enabled access. Marketers review the work and decide what to schedule or publish.
MintRx now uses its AI assistant to pull campaign statistics, group and compare past sends, create interactive reports, audit journeys, and prepare new workflows.
The team can save its campaign history and return to it when planning new sends and journeys.
“The biggest value is quickly retrieving accurate campaign data, including data from more than a year ago, which I couldn’t reliably do through remote debugging. I can now analyze, save, and reference that history to build future workflows much more efficiently.”

Turning past holiday campaigns into a new plan
The clearest example came when a team member asked their AI assistant to analyze Black Friday and Cyber Monday campaigns from more than a year earlier.
The team needed both the emails and the context behind them to understand how past campaign choices could inform future sends.
Through Attentive MCP, the assistant retrieved the historical emails and assembled them into a single HTML file with viewable previews. It then analyzed the email segments, audiences, and send times to develop a new plan.
“The value clicked when I asked it to analyze our Black Friday and Cyber Monday campaigns from more than a year ago. It pulled every email into a single HTML file with viewable previews, which surprised me because accessing the original HTML after campaigns were sent had been difficult, and I was usually limited to PDF exports. It then analyzed the segments, audiences, and send times to create a new plan, taking much of the manual work out of a task I’d always found tedious.”

With the creative and campaign details in one place, MintRx could review what it sent, who it sent to, and when. That made the history useful for planning, not just reporting.
Finding and addressing issues across journeys
MintRx also uses its AI assistant to check existing journeys and recommend fixes.
In one example, the assistant identified issues with unsubscribe links and company addresses in email HTML. The team used the assistant to correct those details across multiple journeys at once.
The team also uses the assistant to analyze overlapping journeys and develop plans to address the issues it finds. That lets MintRx review how journeys fit together, not just what each individual message contains.
Building journeys for planned website popups
Alongside auditing existing journeys, MintRx is using Attentive MCP to help create new ones.
One team member described journey creation as their most-used workflow, especially for building structured journeys for website popups MintRx plans to run. Rather than constructing each journey manually, they can ask their connected AI assistant to help create it.
Campaign analysis informs that planning, too. The team can group past sends, compare data, and use the findings to prepare future campaigns and journeys. Interactive reports make those results easier to review and reference.
The team reports spending less time creating journeys and campaigns, while being able to compare data in ways it hadn’t before.
The result: more useful history, less manual work
Historical emails are easier to retrieve and revisit. Journey reviews help the team find and address issues across multiple flows. New campaign plans and journey structures take less manual effort to prepare.
The result is more than faster access to data. MintRx can use past creative, audience choices, and send times to plan future campaigns, while addressing issues across the journeys it already runs.
